Goal
For my Visual project, I focused on everyday rude behaviors that frustrate me, such as cutting in line or blocking the way. I created a series of posters that first highlighted these annoyances, then flipped the message to encourage self awareness. The final work was presented in an expo style setting at school.

In this project, I explored the concept of social indecency and everyday nuisances. Rather than literal representations, I personified these behaviors as demons wearing business suits. This contrast highlights how indecency often hides behind a mask of normalcy and professionalism, despite its underlying negative impact.
The focus lies on the individual behind the behavior. Using the provocative tagline ‘Be an asshole,’ I confront the viewer in a direct and ironic manner. The message serves as a mirror; it’s not about pointing fingers at others, but about fostering awareness of one’s own actions.
This visual translation made the concept stronger and more abstract. The demon in a sharp suit symbolizes how small, seemingly innocent actions can still have a profound impact on the people around us.
